DAY 01
: EPHESUS TOUR
06:00 Pick up from your hotel
early in the morning
07:45 Fly from Istanbul to Izmir
08:15 Arrive in Izmir and
airport transfer
09:30 Full Day Ephesus Tour
Visiting;
The ruins of the Temple of
Artemis,one of the seven ancient
wonders of the world. Then on,
to visit Ephesus Ancient City,
the best preserved Greco-Roman
city in the world. Here you will
explore the Agora, Odeon,
Curettes Street, public toilets,
Celsius Library, Hadrian Temple,
Roman Baths, Grand Theatre,
Marble Street. After a lunch
break depart for the House of
Virgin Mary and visit the chapel
where she is said to have spent
her last day. End of the tour.
DAY 02
: IZMIR - SMYRNA - PERGAMON
Breakfast served at the hotel.
Depart from hotel to Izmir
(Smyrna) to visit st polycarp
Church Lunch break After lunch
drive to Pergamum to visit the
Asclepion, Acropolis and views
of the Red Basilica.
DAY 03
: THYATIRA - PHILADELPHIA -
SARDES
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart
from Bergama to Thyatira whose
remains include a temple and
large church. Visit Philadelphia
with its famous church of
Philadelphia which was an
important place for the
spreading of the Christian
faith. Lunch break After lunch,
continue on to Sardes, the
wealthy capital of the ancient
Lydian Empire and one of the
most amazing sites in Turkey.
After Sardes depart for
Pamukkale.
DAY 04
: PAMUKKALE - LAODICEA
Breakfast at the hotel Depart
from the hotel and visit what
remain of the Ancient City of
Hierapolis and the travertens.
Lunch break After lunch drive to
Laodicea which is mentioned in
Revelations by st John and in
ancient times was known as
-quot;The City of
Compromise-quot;. End of tour
and transfer to Izmir Airport
for flight to Istanbul
Arrival in Istanbul and transfer
to your hotel.
