DAY 01
: ISTANBUL - GALLIPOLI
06:30 Early in the morning from
Istanbul. We drive to where you
will get information about the
naval battle that took place in
the Dardanelles prior to the
army landings. Later on, we
continue to the Kabatepe War
Museum, which contains relics
from the battle including
original diary extracts and
letters. Lunch at Eceabat. We
then visit Brighton Beach, the
intended landing place and the
Anzac Cove where dawn service is
held on each Anzac Day. Also you
will visit the Lone Pine
Australian Memorial, Johnston's
Jolly and Chunk Bair New Zealand
Memorial. After visiting the
Kilitbahir fortress, which was
built in 1453 by Mehmet II, the
Conqueror (to honor his
successful siege of
Constantinople), we will return
to Istanbul or cross the
Dardanelles to spend the night
in Canakkale
DAY 02
: TROY
After breakfast drive to Troy.
Here you will learn the
mythology surrounding Troy, The
Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy.
Till now, 10 cities have been
discovered, one built on the top
of the other, dating back to
3500 BC. You will see and hear
about the Trojan Horse, Helen of
Troy, the Trojan Wars, the
battle between Achilles and
Paris, the Remains of Troy IX,
the Alters and the Houses of
Troy I, dating back to 2500 BC.
After troy lunch break. And then
we drive to Pergamum.
Visiting;
Pergamum ancient city. After
Pergamum we drive to Kusadasi
and hotel c/in, and overnight
stay in Selcuk or Kusadasi
DAY 03 : PAMUKKALE - HIERAPOLIS
TOUR
08:00 pick up from your hotel
drive to Pamukkale visiting;
Pamukkale and the ancient city
of Hierapolis with the Temple of
Apollo, the breathtaking
Theater, the fascinating
Necropolis and the last the
great baths of Hierapolis
antique city, where St. Philip
was martyred. St. Philip is
connected with the early church
in Hierapolis and played an
important role in Pamukkale the
history of the city. Finally we
visit the calcium terraces and
pools. And tour ends at 17:00.
Transfer to hotel. Overnight in
Pamukkale
DAY 04
: APHRODISIAS TOUR
09:00 pick up from your hotel
drive to Aphrodisias
Aphrodisias
The ancient city of Aphrodisias
is one of the most important
archaeological sites of the
Greek and Roman periods in
Turkey. Aphrodisias lies in the
Maeander River basin, in a
fertile valley 100 miles
southeast of the port of Izmir.
Famous for its sanctuary of
Aphrodite, the city's patron
goddess, Aphrodisias enjoyed a
long and prosperous existence
from the first century B.C.
through the sixth century A.D.
Today, many of the city's
ancient monuments remain
standing, and Excavations have
unearthed numerous fine marble
statues and other artifacts. The
great beauty and extraordinary
preservation of this site
combine to bring the civic
culture of the Greco-Roman
world vividly to life. Tour
finish at 19:00 End of the
Aphrodisias.
And tour ends at Transfer to
hotel. Overnight Selcuk or
Kusadasi
DAY 05
: EPHESUS
After breakfast, pick up from
your hotel for Ephesus tour.
09:30 Full Day Ephesus Tour
The ruins of the Temple of
Artemis. One of the seven
ancient wonders of the world.
Then on to visit Ephesus Ancient
City, the best preserved
Greco-Roman city in the world.
Here you will explore the Agora,
Odeon, Curettes Street, public
toilets, Celsius Library,
Hadrian Temple, Roman Baths,
Grand Theatre, Marble Street.
After a lunch break depart for
the House of Virgin Mary and
visit the chapel where she is
said to have spent her last day.
After the Ephesus tour, we will
transfer you to airport and put
you on a 1 hour flight back to
Istanbul. Arrival in Istanbul,
transfer to your hotel.
